I think alot of these little guys tend to be picky...I would say that you just need to find a food that your little one will eat...Magic was really skinny and still is but we let her eat as much as she wants, we don't want her to be too big or be too small, our vet told us she will maintain her own weight...we feed the girls Nutro Lamb and Rice small bites, but Royal Canin is a good brand as well!!
