! This is the Pacific Stream kibble, right? I don't know if I'd make any food changes right now since you're seeing some improvements . Maybe what you could try next is adding in a probiotic like Petflora and some fiber support - you can get plain Benefiber and just add a pinch to one meal to start. I feed Raw and think it's wonderful, but I just hate to do anything too sudden. Although I have known people who have switched to raw and it has solved problems. The only type of raw I'd recommend you'd start out with (eventually) would be freeze dried medallions, then proceed to the frozen raw. I sure wish you could see firmness every day - but since he was "mush" for soooo long, it may take a while.

Ok, thanks I will do that. Do I purchase the Benefiber or Petflora from Petsmart? And is it ok if Derby gets it too....they eat from the same food bowl. It has been more then every other I guess but I still see the soft poo and so I know I still have to work on this for him. He is pooing less though so that's good too. He used to just go all day at random times and now he is more on a schedule and there seems to be less of it.

![]() ![]() :!! I'm SO glad to hear this!!! The Benefiber you can get anywhere (Target, the grocery store, drug store); I think Petflora is only available online and it's really pricey, so I'm not sure if you want to go that route. Do you have a Whole Foods near you or a decent health foods store? If yes, I'd go there and ask them to help you pick out a decent Probiotic (for humans) and then give 1/2 cap to him per day. It's fine if Derby gets fiber or probiotic - you probably just want to double the dose of everything if they share the entire bowl.
