| Update Tia was spayed on Tuesady. I took her in the morning then picked her up in the afternoon. Bless her she looked so out of it. The vet said the stitches are internal so we don't have to get any removed. They gave her a shot of antibiotics and a shot of painkillers. They even showed us what they removed, it was so tiny! When we got home she was whimpering in her bed for a while then she just slept through the night. I felt so bad for her, i was nearly in tears myself! The next day she was totally back to normal like nothing ever happened. I still have to carry her up and down the stairs and she can't run too fast but other than that i couldn't believe she recovered so fast! She hasn't even tried to lick down there and u can hardly see the incision already. It's been 3 days so another week and we'll go back just for a check up. I was very impressed with the vets and i'm just glad it's all over now |
