				   | I have given pork to Odie several times and he was fine with it. No reactions. I don't give him the fat off it though. I only give him very lean pork. We don't eat pork often so he has had it maybe 3 times. But was he was ok with it. How is Layla today?

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Has she had pork before, because she is very unlikely to have a reaction to it if it's her first time. the reason this is, is because, Like humans we have to be introduced to it once (and wont have a reaction) to build up antibodies so that the next time we/ they eat it it upsets their system. If this is her first time being introduce she shouldnt have any reaction at all. With human i say they WONT have a reaction the first time, but for the sake of puppy- human differce i will say that i am 99.8% sure she wont react to it |

				   | Pork can trigger pancreatitis which can be life threatening and about $1,500 to treat. Yorkies are prone to pancreatitis so it is especially dangerous for them. Print this out for your babysitter so she knows never to give anyone's dog pork again. Pancreatitis (Inflammation) in Dogs |
