| What is going on with Buffs skin???.... My 5 month old yorkie has a bunch of scabs all over him... some under his chin, on the back of his neck and on his wee wee. i cant understand his wee wee, but they are dark and now there are 3 on his wee wee alone! I dont know if there is a disorder or what, i go to the vet on wednesday for him to get fixed, but id like to have some idea by then. He is healthy and happy, we have a cat but she rarely if ever uses her claws on him. Any ideas??? Thanks for any advice/ insight.

| It sounds like it could be a staph infection. All about skin related problems & diseases in dogs, including natural treatments - Chinaroad Lowchens of Australia - |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh goodness - I would really get this baby in for a skin scraping asap. It could be a number of things - staph (like LadyMom said), fleas, mange, yeast, etcetera. I'd really see if you could get this checked out before his surgery - bc if he *does* have something going on - you don't want him going under surgery when his immune system is already fighting something.

| I agree with everyone, he needs to see a Vet and mostly likely the neuter will have to be postponed. |

| Hope you find out what is wrong with the little guy. He needs to be looked at for that before you have him fixed.
