Advantage every three weeks has worked for over 2 years. I feel so bad I went 5 weeks as she now has a couple of bald spots that she chewed overnight. She went from a thick pretty coat to a thin coat and it was all my fault. I have marked my calendar, set my AOL reminder, and my work reminder. I guess it was just to easy to get complacent and let it slide...

Thanks to each and every one of you for your advice. This is the first time I've posted on here and I was a little nervous, but now I feel like I've found lots of friends who share the same love for their Yorkies as I do for mine! I'm looking forward to trying the new and different treatments for fleas.

I would suggest bathing in dawn dish soap. I've done it so I know it works. You have to rinse and rinse and rinse cause it's not easy to rinse out, but it does work. And then maybe switch from Frontline to one of the other flea treatments. there is a new one out now. I'll try to find it.

I agree with this post - the combination might be too much.

I tried a bath with the Dawn, and it really worked. I also used a spray that is supposed to kill fleas in the carpet, plus i bought him a new bed. Hopefully he will be flea free very soon. Thanks for the help!
