| Not drinking enough or eating much I think this is the right place for this post, not sure though! Lilly hasn't been drinking or eating much lately. The eating isn't bothering me as much as the drinking. This morning when we (her and I) woke up, she came in the living room and did her usual morning pee on her piddle pad and the pee was a darker yellow. I put her out fresh water twice a day and I've noticed I've been dumping out more water in the sink than usual. Now when she pees it isn't AS dark but I still think it could be a lighter yellow. Can I add a little sugar to her water or something else that will make it more enticing for her? I know she's sad and most likely depressed because my boyfriend has been gone for 2 weeks (she did this when he first started his new job) but he's going to be gone until next weekend and I can't have this going on that long. I need some advice guys, I'm so lost on this.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | sorry Lilly seems under the weather. How old is she? Could she be coming into heat? Roxie acted like that right before she came into heat. Maybe try giving her ice cubes to entice her to drink. If she keeps it up maybe a trip to the vet to make sure she is ok. Hope she gets back to normal soon.

| You might have them do a urinalysis on your baby to see if she has a uti. I hope she gets better soon...

| I also know that when we put a Brita water filter on the tap that the dog's started drinking more water. Maybe your water has a lot of minerals in it and she doesn't want to drink it.
