| My 5 month old is throwing up!!! I'm new here and have found this website to be very helpful...Thank you all the yorkie lovers out there. I have a 5 month old female Yorkie. She hasnt been able to keep any food down today we have an appt tomorrow with my vet but I was hoping if anyone had any similar situations?? she's still happy and drinking water. I did give her very little canned wet food for the first time, could that be the issue?

| When they throw up, I wouldn't offer any more food. Just give water and maybe some nutrical if you notice that her gums are not pink. How much does she weigh at 5 months? If she is tiny, you don't want her to be hypoglycemic before she goes to the vet tomorrow.

| She weighs 3lbs and her gums are pink. Thank you so very much for responding. We just LOVE her so much we hate to see her sick. Do you think it was the wet food? it was wellness wet food. She is also loosing her teeth.
