I don't usee sugar or salt in my home made recipe From time to time I change the meat. Remember never give your babies the leftover stuff They are bad for them.

It was written by the owner of Lip Smackers pet bakery and her vet. I'm going to go through it today before I go grocery shopping so I can fully transistion BeBe to homecooking. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but heck, I just want the same for her as our skin kids: the best!

I give them Velcote as a suplement. Here is the site:

You can combine them with good quality kibles from time to time when you don't have time to cook for them. I give them for the moment Orijen dog food from time to time.

I also spread parsley over their food. Plus if you can find Hempseed, it will be very good for their skin and coat. You can combine hempseed, flaxseed and sun flower seed together (you can grind them all together). They are very good sources of Omega 3 and 6 which help to achieve shiny and healthy coats.

What do you give to your yorkies? Do you give them flaxseed, sunflower seed and hemp seed too? These seeds can help improve their coat.
