I wonder if the groomer did it to Roxy??? From day one when I got Roxy from the breeder her butt hole stuck out, I noticed it when I would wash her and also b/c TJ's did not.

But now that she can back from the grommers it is flat!
Did she need her anal glad expressed?
When the butt hole is sticking out is that an indication that this needs to be done???

I am going to take her to the vet anyways but can butt scooting across the floor mean somethign other than worms? Can they just have a butt itch?

Every episode I have had with this is tape worms from eating a stray flea if I'm late in getting frontline on them. Has not happened to my Yorkie it has my Shih Tzu. Good Luck. whichever it may be.

I had this once and she was tested for worms and it was negative. We finally found
out a groomer shaved around her anus (which you should never do) always use
scissors. I groom her myself since then - I've learned alot since then and sometimes they
can do better, but I think she looked pretty good.

Mia does that when she has a little poo hanging, or if her poo is soft... I think she is trying to wipe. She is very finicky about it touching her in any way. We call it "drag racing" at our house and I tell her that she has to take that outside!

Yes she probably did express it.
