| PS When diagnosis is demodex, the dog should not be given prednisone (cortisone drugs) because it activates the mites. Charlie is a rescue and had demodex for years that was not treated properly. Gone now, but I watch him carefully to make sure his immune system is strong.

| She has been eating Eukanuba petite puppy bites since she starting eating dry food. Thats what she ate with the breeder and I decided not to change that on her. Our German Shepherd eats Eukanuba as well now and I can't believe how wonderful its been for her and how shiny her coat is since we changed her to it. Just not working for my baby..... |

| ok... on a PERSONAL level.... I had alopecia when I was a young. Lost LOTS & LOTS of hair, bald spots (baby but smooth) over night... would wake up with them had my last one when I was 12 , thank god!!! BUT... I still loose quite a bit of hair just shampooing... Anyways.... I just want to send on special thoughts to your baby... as I know personally how "embarrasing" it is to feel not so pretty I hope they find out what it is FOR SURE and get treatment started soon. Take care & keep us updated

| Guppy had a similiar situation, caused by stress and it was misdiagnosed several times before I found a dermatology specialist that found mange mites. Within a couple weeks, on the proper medication, it's finally gone. I'd think you should find another vet, if possible one that specializes in skin problems, and have skin scrape done just to rule out other possibilities. GL!!! |
