| Yes. I know a few dogs that get it regularly..... Start slow to be sure she won't get diarrhea or anything from it. |

| Yeah! Homemade kefir is great. Start slow, and make it 'plain' - don't flavor it. Kefir has lots of probiotics that encourage the intestines to make healthy bacteria to fight off any germs and balance the digestive tract.

| Oh, cool! then can I ask you what you feed your pups? And how often and how much each time... I'm trying only a 1/4 cup because my pups stomach seems to blow up everytime she eats a meal... we usually just give her dry food but she doesn't seem eat too much of it and I always feel like she's so hungry.. so we made her chicken and carrots last night and she LOVED it but her stomach blew up. And this morning I just gave her a 1/4 cup of kefir and it blew up again... Idk why this happens and it's really frustrating....... please let me know if you know anything about why this happens.. THANK YOU!!! |

| How old is your dog? How much does she weigh? I think its fine to divide their daily feed into 3 meals a day if you are experiencing bloat issues. She is probably swallowing a lot of air. You might be overfeeding her! 1/4 cup is a lot. I usually do a few tsp of yogurt or kefir. I am a raw feeder. I don't know if you have heard of BARF feeding....But I am a committed BARFER! LOL I use a prepackaged raw feed by Primal Brand which is completely balanced. My Yorkie mix, Ella Bean weighs 2.7 lbs and she eats only a little over 2 oz. a day, to give you an idea. I have to run & take my Ella Bean to the vet right now for her post-spay checkup...but I will PM you later!
