| How much do you feed How offend First let me start off saying my little guy is huge. He's 10 weeks old and weighed in at 5 lbs. His dad was 5 lbs & his mom was 11 lbs. Size doesn't matter to me, but I don't want a fat dog, I'm worried I might be over feeding. I feed him 3 times a day. IF i left food out all the time he's be 100 lb dog (the little piggy). I have the smallest cermanic dish they make (I believe it hold 1/4 cup). I got it at meijers. I fill it 3/8 of the way full (just under 1/2) at breakfast lunch and dinner. So I'd say he's getting 3/8 of a up of food a day. He would eat more if I would give it too him. When do I need to start really monitoring his intake. I don't want to stunt his growth by not giving him what he needs to grow. My vet suggested I might be feeding him to much that's why I ask. i thought you could give puppies as much as they would eat because they are so active and growing. He does not look fat....he looks kinda gangly right now actually. He just had a really big growth spurt and got a little bit longer and taller.

| I would let him eat what he wants to in a 20 minute time period. I personally feed my pups 3 times a day plus leave dry dog food down for them to nibble on at that age. He may just be going to be a big boy. |

| I have always left dry food down for Baby all of the time. I never had a problem with her overeating...good luck! |

| I wish Lucky could be more like your dog. Lucky is so picky with what he eats, and sometimes, he doesn't even eat at all. He doesn't like Nutrical/stat so I have to force feed that to him so he doesn't get hypoglycemic from not eating. I just found out he's been vomitting a lot because of hunger according to breeder (vet says it's because of worms or the food, i don't know who to believe). Well, anyways, back to the topic. I feed him four times a day and I always have dry food out. Feeding schedule for me is 6am 12pm 4pm 8-9pm. Too bad he doesn't eat according to plan all the time. When he doesn't eat I feed him an inch of the Nutrical as a calorie supplement.
