[Ponyup]

First let me start off saying my little guy is huge. He's 10 weeks old and weighed in at 5 lbs. His dad was 5 lbs & his mom was 11 lbs. Size doesn't matter to me, but I don't want a fat dog, I'm worried I might be over feeding. I feed him 3 times a day. IF i left food out all the time he's be 100 lb dog (the little piggy). I have the smallest cermanic dish they make (I believe it hold 1/4 cup). I got it at meijers. I fill it 3/8 of the way full (just under 1/2) at breakfast lunch and dinner. So I'd say he's getting 3/8 of a up of food a day. He would eat more if I would give it too him. When do I need to start really monitoring his intake. I don't want to stunt his growth by not giving him what he needs to grow. My vet suggested I might be feeding him to much that's why I ask. i thought you could give puppies as much as they would eat because they are so active and growing. He does not look fat....he looks kinda gangly right now actually. He just had a really big growth spurt and got a little bit longer and taller.
