| I use Revolution on my 2 and they don't mind it, no problems with it, and it is very easy... just not the cheapest. You can buy it online cheaper than at the vet though! (petcarepoint)

| Scooter has a bad reaction to HeartGard and I'm going to switch him either to Interceptor or Revolution. It's good to see the positive information here about Revolution. |

| MyFairLacy had posted before that she has heard reports of it not working as well as it should for heartworm. I don't really trust it and I have questions about its safety record. If your pup won't eat the Heartgard Plus, you can give regular Heartgard (doesn't have Pyrantel, so one less insecticide but it also doesn't kill intestinal parasites). They are pretty small and you can use a pill gun or wrap it in a small piece of meat.

| No problems using it on my three. Although, I agree, it is quite pricey.

| I've always used Revolution on Deegan. My friend, who is his vet recommeded it and we haven't had any problems with it. And believe me, I put alot of trust into my vet because she's such a close friend, I know that she wouldn't just give me something to sell it, or give me something that would be harmful to my baby -she knows how much I love him & she loves him too! So I would go ahead and see what your own vet thinks. As long as you have the right dosage you will be fine. It's easy and a much cheaper solution than buying several preventatives.
