Please help our yourkie seems to develop sleepy heads by boyh eyes very often and very hard to rid of them as they get caught in her hair. The vet referred to them as eye boogers and didnt seem to think it was a problem. Any other yorkies have these often?

I have heard that some have that problem. They use combs and clean them daily. My daughter's yorkie has this problem.

Spunky gets those too. I usually make it a routine to clean his eyes at least twice a day. I get a cotton ball, and put a lil warm water on it, then just clean his eyes as best as i can. Then i go in with a comb to seperate the hair. I've read that if you dont clean this eye mucus, it can cause the hair around the eye to rot.

You can clean the eye buggies with a flea comb or a warm wet towel. This is pretty normal for some dogs.
