| ProMeris Has anybody ever used ProMeris for flea and tick. I have always used Frontline Plus. My Vet has switched to this instead like it better. I was just wondering what everybody else use or if anybody knows anything about this and if they like it.

| I've used it a couple times - twice on my cats and once on Lacy and Rylie. Fleas aren't bad right now so the real test would be in the months to come. I wasn't crazy about it leaving a residue on the hair, but Frontline does that too. Advantage does not leave a residue. I like that ProMeris has a new active ingredient so fleas shouldn't be immune, and I like that it is supposed to last 6 weeks but I'm afraid it won't last nearly that long since I bathe mine once a week. The cat ProMeris smells good (very different than the dog). I'm not sure yet if I'll stick to Advantage or switch to ProMeris. I get free flea preventatives through school sometimes so I usually use what I'm given....well advantage or ProMeris anyway.

| ProMeris I just picked up Advantage for my dogs and asked at my vet's office if they are recommending ProMeris. The tech said no and told me that she had tried it for her own dog and the dog had a bad reaction, so she wouldn't use it even if the vet did recommend it. That was good enough for me. Mine get along fine with Advantage and I think "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." |

| I used ProMeris on my cats when they had a flea outbreak a few months back and wasn't too impressed. It didn't seem to kill all the fleas. They are now using Revolution and I haven't had any more problems. For the puppy I have only used Frontline Plus so far and she has done fine with that. |
