I just picked up Advantage for my dogs and asked at my vet's office if they are recommending ProMeris. The tech said no and told me that she had tried it for her own dog and the dog had a bad reaction, so she wouldn't use it even if the vet did recommend it. That was good enough for me. Mine get along fine with Advantage and I think "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
