Thanks! The thing is if she does need surgery i am scared, cause first she needs to get spayed. So she will have to recover from that then get the LP surgery

Well the spay first...they recover from that fast. Then a few months down the line do the LP.

The orthopedic specialist that did Shelby's surgery also said the same. Shelby had her surgery on the 21st of Feb. She is going to "rehab" now and I am seeing the results!! She used to "waddle" when she walked. Now that her knees are straight she is going to thearpy to strengthen those muscles that she didn't use (she was using all the muscles on the outside of her thigh... the inside ones were very weak). Eventually she would have had serious probs because she was putting so much stress on the outside of her legs because of the luxating patellas..... I can really see now what the doctor meant.
