With her blood work being what you say, I would worry that she might have some kidney problems and that is probably why the vet needs a urine sample. What kind of diet is she on? | |

| Thanks for the support and prayers!!! It means a lot, I posted in my other thread, but I really appreciate it and don't know what I would do w/o YT right now! Because my babies never had any problems, if they acted sick I took them to the vet, and other than that they've always seemed fine, I never thought something was wrong, I really had no reason to. It's still hard to believe something could be wrong because she's still acting fine. My mom called today to see how she's doing and I told her she's fine, she acts normal, but I guess it shows you just never know and I'm so glad I got the bloodwork done so anything can be detected, I don't want to imagine if it wasn't done and she went into surgery ![]() The vet closes in 30mins, and I really don't think I'm going to get the sample. I called and they said I can bring it tomarrow, but if we get the sample tonight just to put it in the fridge. It's another day of waiting now, but hopefully they can get the results from the urine test by the end of the day tomarrow.

| That makes sense, kidneys...urine, I didn't think to put the two together. I thought it was odd because usually bloodwork can tell more info then a urine test, but after what you say I put it together now. I guess when your worried you really don't think all that great. She's still on RC, I've been meaning to switch, just havent yet. I'm thinking of feeding them canidae but not 100% sure yet.

| We are 8 days out from bella's spay. She did fairly well. She had some dry heaves after water. it took her gut about 10 hrs to wake up from anesthesia. once she got bowel sounds she no longer had dry heaves. She didnt have anything for pain. She was pretty spunky when i picked her up and just slept alot. She was needy but never appeared to be in pain. WE did the onsie. It worked well. The second day we switched to a long shirt. She never touched her incision. I had out of town visitors so she was really distracted i think. Hope yours goes great! |

| I will be praying for little Bella. I don't know much about problems with the kidneys ... hope the tests were wrong and that it's nothing. I know how worried and scared you must be. God bless you all.

| My fiance said his coworker said if it's anything with the kidneys, to put off her spaying until it's normal because the kidneys are very important when there having surgery. So I think even if it's just a little low, I'm going to wait until it gets better. But I'm still going to wait and see what the vet says too.

| I am not a vet, but if you told me the same thing in a human patient; I would be concerned about diabetes. Please update us when you get more news. (((hugs))) I just came off a small vacation out of state. Not been here much the past week.

| Thanks everyone for still sending prayers! That's all I can really do right now until I find out whats wrong with her. So she has peed since I last updated, but it was when my fiance and I made a quick starbucks run I think what I'm going to do is take the pee pad of her tray in the bedroom, so in the morning when she pees I can just dump it into the cup. I know it sounds gross, but unless she goes before bed I don't know how long it will be and I don't want to wait any longer.

| I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Why in the world doesn't the vet just take the sample? I have no idea what it is but my first guess is diabetes. Can you post the results? If she doesn't have diabetes and kidney problems are ruled out, look at the liver.
