Need help with my itchy dog

Solid gold is good dog food no corn, wheat, soy, salt, sugar, no preservative or by products, some of their has bison in it which chester loves, I also do grizzly salmon oil on his wet food and it has helped, chester has seasonal itches which is coming up.

now my only concern is after we get this cleared up, if I attempt to put her back on dog food, she'll probably turn her nose to it.

How is her, ahem, other end loving it?

She may not be so keen on dog food later, you may have to transition and/or keep her on both - which wouldn't be too bad. Cross that bridge, so to speak...

I have mine all on nutro ultra and they all do well on it..Maybe you should take her to another vet and get a 2nd opinion..I have found here that some vets are better with small dogs than other vets are..We have one vet that is more into horses, cows and big dogs like shepherd size on up

I took her off of the potato's and added sweet potato's and now she won't eat it. She'll eat a little as long as I hand feed it to her but that is it. Is there another carb. I can use instead of the sweet potato's that doesn't promote yeast?

I would probably avoid the sweet potatoes and use squash instead - try canned or frozen squash and put a bit of butter spray on it (it could be worse ). Another thing you can use is brown rice (NOT white). Canines don't truly need carbs, per se, but they are definitely helpful during times of stress, and especially helpful during digestive issues/healing - all of which applies to little Zoey.

How are her stools, btw? And itching? Other symptoms?

So I thought I would update and let you know Zoey is doing much better. I have her on "Nature's Variety" raw venison diet and am giving her "Cycles of Life" Geneflora probiotic supplement.

FABULOSITY!!!!!!!! That's what I feed as well - raw is just tremendous! I am so thrilled to hear this and I just love it that you were so thoughtful to come back and update us!
