| legg perthes? Hi all! I recentlly got the sweetest little rescue yorkie. I love this girl! The vet said she has laxating patellas in both knees rated 2.5 and possible legg perthes in her right hip. her knees have never poped out but are loose. can anything be done to avoid surgery? she seems to walk fine and appears to not be in pain. we think she is about 3 years old. Thanks for any help! Ellina |

| thanks! i just ordered the liquid glucosemine. I hope this works. I already give her and my other 2 yorkie boys Missing link+glucosemine. Do you think that too much glucosemine could be bad? I already love this little girl so much after just 2 weeks and am prepared to pay for any surgery,,,,,but she is so small, and I am more concerned at the risks involved with the surgery. Ellina |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Congrats on your rescue baby. I have a Yorkie with grade 4 LP and the vet said she may never need surgery or one day she could. She is almost 3. She has never shown any problems so far. I hope some one who is familiar with Leggs Perth responds. Good luck and Welcome

| Congrats on your new rescue.. My first three were rescues and I loved them dearly also.. I have a 4 pound yorkie with lp... he does ok and right now I was told not to do it until he gets worse.. if he does.. i was told this by an orthopedic vet and as he put it.. if it is not broke don't fix it... |
