| Nadia just got spayed not too long ago (she is 3.4 lbs). She was done in the morning and able to go home late that night due to her size and there was no one to watch her overnight at the vet's office. We paid extra to have SubQ fluids under her skin and pain meds after. She wasn't groggy at all!! I had to watch her as she was ALL over the place. The worst of was her baby teeth were pulled and that bothered her a little. She didn't have stiches that needed pulling out either - they disolved. It took a little longer for the swelling to go down, but now it looks great!!

| Why do so many Yorkies have to have baby teeth pulled?

| Our vet states that this isn't a yorkie thing at all - just a toy breed thing. That all toys have problems with this due to their small mouths.
