| Eukanuba Yorkie anyone? Anyone try this? I just bought it for my boys the other day, they seem to love it. I took them off NutroMax bc I read on here that people were having problems with it... but honestly I just cannot afford to put them on royal canin and other extreme high end foods, they are like $27 for a 10lb bag! YIKES! I live in the suburbs/city where there is not a lot of need for farmer markets and such so I can never find Canidae, which is ideally what Id like to put them on. Any other suggestions for food from petsmart or petco that is more affordable and good for them if eukanueba is not 'it'?? Thanks!!!

No Longer a Member | Chloe's been on it since late last summer. She's never done better. You're going to get a lot of negative opinions about it. We tried EVERY premium and super premium dogfood out there, including raw and even homemade, and she lost a lot of weight. She is now at the correct weight and has never been better! |

| I tried the Eukanuba and they had itchies/gassies... then I read that it is NOT considered to be a quality doggie food. I wanted Innova or Wellness, but our PetCo did not have them. I bought Dick Van Patten's Natural and they LOVE it. I want to order dog food to be delivered to our home... but, I am sort of afraid of folks stealing it off our porch if we are not home.

| Have you tried going on Canidae's website? That is where I found my local place that sells it. You just type in your zip code or address I believe! And Canidae is not very expensive at all! In fact, much cheaper than RC!!

| Yes Eukunabu!! H i live in UK and was looking for a good afordable food, something that the dogs likes, and also kibbles small enough for the pups -this was ideal!!!! I am a member of the Euknubu Breeders club in the UK and when I have a litter, they send me lovely Puppy Packs for the new owners. Highly Recommended from a owner with fussy dogs!!!!! |

| Eukanube..... I used to feed Eukanuba......but then I found out that it contains bi-products....And you don't want anything that has anything to do with that! I reccomend Royal Canin Yorke! My baby loves her Royal Canin! (and she doesn't get the itchies!

| The breeder started my pup on wet food and suggested I mix in Eukanuba, I tried it and my puppy started to itch. She would itch so bad that she would rug up against the wall trying to get some relief. So I switched to artemis and now no more itching. |

| I feed him that! When you say itching, do you refer to when he/she starts sliding on its behind on the rug?! Because I thought it was normal (now and then!) but now I am worried... Mine eats Eukanuba for puppies and has been fine except for the occasional behind scratching (doesnt occur much!) Does this mean I should switch? |

| Besides the fact that Euk is full of fillers and by-products (which is fine if that is what you're comfortable with), I WILL NOT support Iams. Until they can prove to me that those videos are false, I will not buy their food (even if it was good).

| I used to use Eukanuba on Tobey but the last two years I went to Iams because it was cheaper and I felt since Eukanuba and Iams are same company it would be fine and at first he did ok on the Iams.. never had a problem with it or Eukanuba but the last couple of months he has bad skin allegeries so I bought Royal Canin Beauty Care so far no problems with it and he doesn't itch as much but its only been a week as for Isabella the breeder had her on the Nutro Natural Lamb and Rice and at first she would eat it but then she seem disinterested in it so I bought the Royal Canin Puppy.. After all that I read that alot of ppl yorkies on here got the Itchies.. So I am going to switch the both again.. Now at Petsmart they do sell Blue Buffalo some ppl here says its okay and its better than Eukanuba...If you go to the website you can get a free sample.. There is a thread I started about Blue Buffalo.. But I don't know if you have Pet Supermarket but they sell Wellness brand and everyone here seems to recommend it highly so I think I am going to get that brand.. I don't know the cost HOPEFULLY NOT TO EXPENSIVE.. I am like you can't afford anything to costly.. But if you go to the wellness site they have store locators that you just type you city and state and they give stores in the area that sell... Hope this helps sorry for the long reply... But I think you should use whatever your puppies like to eat
