| Another food??? I know there have been tons of questions on the food subject, and I have searched old threads on here but still can't really get an answer so... I currently feed Natural Balance Potato Duck to all 4 of mine and they like it and so do I, but it is sooo expensive. I go through a 30lb bag between all of them in a month, that is about $47 a month. Plus I have to drive 30 miles to get it. I am trying to find something as good but cheaper. I feed this because of allergies and it is for all life stages too, all of my dogs are from puppy to older adult. Any suggestions? I have looked at Canidae Maintanance, California Natural Sweet Potato, but I don't know if they would be as good for allergies as the Natural Balance. Help??

| I never had a problem with canidae, but, had to switch as I had 6 dogs on it(2 being big dogs), and it was very expensive...I think anything we feed them, if it's good food, is going to get very costly...Now, my 4 little ones take about 2-3 mos to go through a 20 lb bag, so, it's not that costly |

| I pay around $32 for a 40 lb bag of Canidae All Stages. My dogs alway do really well on it. You could consider mixing the Canidae and Natural Balance. I always mix dog foods (high quality) and have never had any problems. You might also look at Pet Food Direct. With the price of gas it is getting so high might be cheaper to get it shipped to your house. |

| I think for allergies, california natural is better off. And just to save the gas money, you should go to www.petfooddirect.com you can just buy huge bags so you only have to pay shipping once. And with the gas price, i think shipping might be cheaper. Plus, no tax. and once you start buying things, they send you cupon code via email all the time. I currently have 20% off one. If you want, let me know.

| yeah, my little tumi was not really doing well on Canidae since she has some allergies. She is on NV raw so she is okay now. I think some dogs might be allergic to some ingredients in Canidae but it's over all a good food. I would say just go with California natural. Or better yet, Wellness Core Ocean which is totally grain free.

| Franklin is on California Natural and he loves it. It's supposed to be really good for allergies. You can read more about it here. http://naturapet.com/brands/california-natural.asp I agree with everyone else, I think it might just be cheaper for you to order it online. Good luck!

| You may want to try Eagle Pak Holistic food. We've done very well with this since puppyhood! |
