| Someone mentioned the high cost of shipping for dog food.....if you don't live in area where alternatives are readily available (like me), try www.k9cuisine.com They offer free shipping for orders $50 or more, and it's fedex so pretty speedy too. I love it! |

I think another reason I stay clear of high proteins are the what if's. I am terrified that the high protein might trigger a liver or kidney problem. I would think that if he had any liver problems that I would know about them by now. At least I hope I would.

| Or my dads wife! LOL! They were actually upset that I wouldnt let them get one of my pups out of my last litter. She cannot even stand it when my dogs try to sit by her! Its always "oh, get down, I dont want you in my face!" and she pushes them off of her. Why would I want them to have one of their pups if she cant stand the parents?

| LOLOL.....I have two pugs and 2 cats (the cats are my husbands). The youngest cat will sit and just stare at the pugs with the strangest expression...like they are from outer space or something. This quote always makes me think of him! |

| I just switched Scooter and Maya from Royal Canin 28 to Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Fish Formula because Scooter has allergies..........only to find that it only is rated with 4 stars! I can't have too high of a protein food because Maya had a liver shunt. I just don't know what to do!

| Would you mind explaining what your "raw diet" is? I haven't read anything about that. Is it purchased food, or actually home made raw stuff, like raw meat and veggies & rice etc. ? |
