| I went thru so much looking for the best food. I finally settled on Innova puppy dry mixed w / canned food. Penny likes it. I always see a new food and think it is better. I will stick with what I am using for now. If she has problems later I will switch.

| I'm ready to boil a chicken! Years ago, before kids, my husband and I fed our samoyed only Science Diet...no table food, because that's what all the advice was then (she lived to be 12, but with diabetes). I find it funny that now, you're supposed to feed dogs veggies, rice and meat. Geeze, I should just pull up another chair at our table. I relaxed with our Westie, as I figured let him enjoy life more...give him the "healthy" scraps off our plates (on top of his dry dog food), such as lean meat, rice, veggies, etc... I think I may do the same with my Yorkie baby, as long as it's the healthy stuff. She doesn't eat much anyway! I make a mean chicken and rice! Kathy |

| I have always been told that too much protein isn't good for them. I can only get one of the foods listed on the 6 star rating list. So I really have no choice but to stick with the 5 star rating list.

| My baby has switched to the new Blue Buffalo formula (the new one not the old ones!) and she LOVES IT!!! It has Lamb, Blueberries, and other great stuff. It scored a 106 and she loves the little fruit pieces, she usually eats those before the kibble (which is also easier for her to chew.) She was on Lotus before. |

I know that Diesel loves Orijen. That is really high in protein so I try not to give him to much. I have no idea how true the "myth" is. I think it probably has a lot to do with the TYPE of protein they are getting. I can't buy any of the food on the 6 star list except for Orijen locally. I was trying to pack some weight on him and that is why I tried Orijen. Diesel is going 2 1/2 years old and he hasn't had any problems. I guess I am just to chicken and choose to be safe that sorry.

| Yes, really, really stinky poop!!! I had to switch even though I still have 2 cans left. Now if I could only find one that doesn't make for stinky kisses LOL
