| How is Samuel doing today? LilyGrace goes in this week too...she has never had a dental (as far as we know) and boy, does she need it. ![]() I worried w/ Mojo too when he had his first dental...the vet had to show me the smallest tube they would use, the gas, everything...I'm a freak, I know, and thankfully, she didn't mind. So, I now that LilyGrace and all of our little babies will be okay getting dental. Hugs to Samuel

| Now, I know my vet, doesn't always use anesthesia....but for the actual "dental" they have to...because it is a long process, etc. But Mojo has been given some shot, I forgot what it was called, for just routine teeth scrapping, cleaning....I will have to ask my vet what that shot is called. BUT all vets are different.

| How much is everyone's vets charging? --for the full dental? Mine is $180 and that is w/ everything, including antiboitics if needed, but they are doing 25%off for the month of Feb (dental month), so around $160. Course, if extractions are done, that will increase the cost.

| Ellie's oral surgery was $600. When she was already under for her spay it was $165 which didn't include bloodwork.

I told you, I was a FREAK! Actually, I had asked about the tube because of hearing "stories" (which I won't mention) and she showed me all the sizes they had.....she loves me....she really does! I asked one day about the color coded files....because a friend of mine works in a doctors office and they color code the files (like if they are not very nice, or whatever) ---really! Anyways, I said...so is mine the narrotic crazy Yorkie mom color! And she said no, that I was actually one of the most pleasant person she deals with and that she actually enjoys when I come in! --which of course she does, because I give her all my money!!!hee, hee Remember when Mojo got neutered?? I was so freaked out! She walked me thru step by step everything that would be done and that would happen, etc. AND she even offered for me to be in the OR while it was being done. I regret it now, but I didn't take her up on that....But that just makes me trust my vet even more!

| Hi Everyone, Thanks for all your words of encouragement and prayers. Samuel's dental work went great and there were no problems! He had one tooth extracted so his mouth was a little sore for the first 48 hours but now you can't even tell that he had a tooth pulled. Thank goodness the procedure is over and everything is back to normal

| I'm glad he is ok, I am thinking of getting Louis' teeth cleaned, but am worried. I know I will bombard my vet with millions of questions.. again
