| Question on Virbac Petrodex Dental Chews I would like to give my dog a dental chew that will clean his teeth. Unfortunately the only chew he likes are bully sticks but that grosses me out and it stinks too. So I was looking at a product from Virbac called Petrodex Dental Chews. Has anyone tried it? If so does it really remove plaque and tartar? Also, I am not sure about giving something that has poultry digest in it. Is that a safe ingredient? Here are the other ingredients:Beefhide, Potassium Sorbate, Malto Dextrin, Dextrose, Poultry Digest, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Primary Dried Yeast, Glucose Oxidase (Aspergillus niger), Dried Whey Protein Concentrate. Any feedback on this product would be appreciate.

| We use them, it is the only thing Milo will Chew, he is not a chewer. As far as helping I look at it this way it is better than nothing. We were also given these by his Vet. |

| OK thanks. I guess since it's vet recommended it can't be too bad. I will give it a try.

| I probably wouldn't give a chew with poultry digest in it. I do like CET (virbac) vanilla mint toothpaste though.

| Ellie May, I wasn't sure exactly what poultry digest is. Could you tell me why you wouldn't use it? I gave my dog the chew yesterday and he loves it. If it's bad for him though I will stop it immediately.
