I would like to give my dog a dental chew that will clean his teeth. Unfortunately the only chew he likes are bully sticks but that grosses me out and it stinks too. So I was looking at a product from Virbac called Petrodex Dental Chews. Has anyone tried it? If so does it really remove plaque and tartar? Also, I am not sure about giving something that has poultry digest in it. Is that a safe ingredient? Here are the other ingredients:Beefhide, Potassium Sorbate, Malto Dextrin, Dextrose, Poultry Digest, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Primary Dried Yeast, Glucose Oxidase (Aspergillus niger), Dried Whey Protein Concentrate.

Any feedback on this product would be appreciate.
