| I picked Korki up Friday and she was very very sore and groggy. Her teeth didn't seem to bother her but she did have a bunch of stitches on her tummy. The Dr. didn't prescribe any pain meds or antibotics. He took out 8 extra teeth and said she had a few loose that would come out on their own. One already has. I held her most of Friday night. She didnt' eat at all so I gaver her a bit of Nuti-cal every couple of hours. She really didn't want it but a dab on the nose and she would lick it off. Saturday she was much better. She had a scrambled egg for breakfast. She didn't want it but I hand fed it to her and she took about half. She slept most of the morning in my arms and by afternoon was much more awake and alert. She was potting during this time. I would just taker her out and she would go, then right back inside. Sunday she was pretty much back to normal, but a little subdued. She's sleeping a bit more but the weather is cold so maybe she's just tired. I think she's fine now. Her appitite is back to normal and she's back picking at our other dog who is 16 years old. We get the stitches out Friday, and we're good to go. I hope this helps for reference in the future. Thanks for all your posts and support. |

| Zoe is in for her surgery now. Spaying and teeth. I hope she comes through okay. She has tons of energy. Little nervous about what she will be like later. |

| I hope your's turns out as well as ours did. It is nerve racking though. Zoemama, I hadn't thought much about changes except that I hope it calms Korki down a bit. She is so full of energy with a bit of agression. I figure it might take a while since it's probably hormonal. Anyone have more experiences in personality changes after spading to share? |

| Ellie has always been a bit aggressive and when they are aggressive going in, there is a small chance it can make it worse...which it did. This is rare though and I think Ellie is getting better (4 months later). She was spayed at age 6 and hasn't slowed down a bit.
