We are very happy that there is a good outcome. Both of you have a good sleep tonight, you will need it! The first night or two home will be the worse. After that, things slowly begin to improve with more good days than bad days. One thing I learned from this is that recovery does not occur in a straight line. There will be bad days and better days, but eventually the better become more frequent than the bad. We are here if you need us!

First I am sorry you and your furbaby had to go through this. I am glad she did well and hope she recovers quickly this cant be easy for any of you.

I have been up since 5:00am. The weather here is terrible. We are going to call the hospital about 9:00am to make arrangements to see Shelby's doctor and hopefully pick her up.
The BAD thing is the interstate that travels into Cincinnati is closed right now. Apparently due to all the ice, there are accidents all over. Hopefully by the time we have to leave it will be open.
A gentlemen that I talked to in the coffee shop said that it took him 2 hours to get from one side of Cincy to the other last night... ...... kinda scarey.
If it is too bad for us to go this morning, I know that she is in good hands and we will have to wait til this afternoon to travel. Keep your fingers crossed that the situation here gets better!!! Hugs to all!

We are sooooo glad that Shelby came through the surgery so well and we keep praying for a very speedy recovery! Maggie and Mitzi are sending tiny Yorkie kisses and they told me they put in a good word with the weather god to let you have a safe, dry and fast drive home...

.......she WON'T stop licking me!!!

She was so excited when we picked her up. When hubby went out the door ahead of us to start the truck, she got upset and didn't want him to leave without us.... so we just decided to go out with him..... besides, the truck wasn't too cold and it made her so happy to be going with us in the truck. (Thank goodness we had a truck..... the weather was terrible)

Anyway, we are very busy, and Shelby is requiring lots of care right now. Thank-you all for thinking about her during this rough time!
