| Which one already? I have been reading countless threads, and have spent much time on dogfoodanalysis. I just dont know what food to feed Lexi. She likes whatever we give her. I had her on royal canin puppy 33, and noticed she was itching. There were many threads where people had the same case, so now we put her on Holistic Healthy Extensions. For the most part I have heard good things about it. It is rated "4 star," but I dont know if I should switch to some 6 star or what? I am not going to be cheap when it comes to her well being, so I just need some help figuring out which one to give her. For soft food we homecook btw. |

| I highly recommend feeding raw. I've been feeding Nature's Variety raw for over a year and a half and Lacy has done great on it. She even had a full blood panel done in October (after over a year of eating raw) and everything was perfect. I also feed my two cats raw and canned. I just recently switched my oldest cat to only raw. She is 8 years old and has always had chronic allergies...hair loss, itchiness, etc. I had never found a food that worked before, even the canned NV rabbit food. But on the NV raw rabbit she has never looked better. She has almost completely regrown all her hair in 2 months and looks great!

| I just started feeding Eagle Pack Hollistic (chicken) to Kayah .. Evie was eating this at Missy's.. Kayah's such a picky eater.. and she loves it!! I was so suprised.. It's really great stuff. I went to my local Petsmart and asked the trainer if they carry it.. he said no and that it's a shame cause it's one of the best dog foods out there (I got it at Pet Supplies Plus).. It's not all that expensive either Here's the link: http://eaglepack.com/

| I feed entirely homecooked because I think it's best. If I had to feed dog food I would want to use canned (Evangers or Merrcks possibly). I might go with Wellness kibble or maybe Canidae.

| Innova & Artemis are also very good. I understand being overwhelmed - I went thru this too. It's great when they'll eat anything - mine will too. But there are so many choices and it is a bit overwhelming
