I started homecooking for Rocco and Sissy, I do keep a bowl of Innvoa dry out for them. I'm not concerned.

From what I've read, it isn't something that would get their food recalled. I think it is just that they claim their food is 95% USDA approved or fit for human consumption, but it might not be. I don't think their is anything that serious going on.

that if you have notice of such a dispute or problem that you need to provide evidence of such a dispute as to not create a scare amongst dog owners. If there is no proof or evidence, we can only assume that it is a rumor. I am not trying to be mean, just trying to be realistic and keep the peace.

If you look at the lawsuit it doesn't seem like only the makers of Innova are being sued. Here are a few of them...
Mars
Proctor and Gamble
Colgate
Palmolive
Hill's
Purina
Nutro
Natura
Menu
Petsmart
Target
Wal-mart

There are a few others but you get the picture. So it doesn't sound like it is just Innova. Could be a ton of different people that just want something to gripe about who knows.

I think people are just tired of them lying about ingredients and using things in their food that shouldn't be in any dog food. It does seem strange though that someone would find this information out about these companies. How do we really know what ingredients they are using? If the people who started the lawsuit hadn't toured the factories, then I don't see how they could know.

You have a point. It does make you wonder. I use to feed Diesel Innova so I hope there wasn't anything in the food that could have caused damage later on down the road.

I don't believe these are people that "just want something to gripe about". They are people that have come together to force the pet food mfgrs to be responsible for not only the food the produce but to be honest in their marketing. After the nightmare of pet food recalls many of the companies drug their heels in recalling foods, were deceptive about what was in their foods and refused to take responsibility.

Many pets died as a result of tainted food, other were left with life long medical problems. If this is what it takes to make the pet food industry responsible then I wished I would have joined in the lawsuit.

I didn't realize Innova was part of the lawsuit and now wonder if it is really safe.

I personnally do not want my pets to be the experiment of whether this suit is legit or not. I think if these people had a strong enough "gripe" to be able to bring it to the justice system I am not going to "wait" to see if my dogs will survive what ever the "gripe" is.

I am switching dog foods this week...in the meantime I will cook for them whenever possibe.

Well guys on the look for a better diet for the furkids....if anyone has a packaged brand of dry food that looks safe please inform.

I'm glad to hear that it works for you. I just tried to switch Max over to the EVO reduced fat (that's the turkey, isn't it?...not sure if they have more than one turkey formula) last week and I'm not positive, but he's never been so sick since I had him (except when he had pancreatitis). I guess I should have known better b/c he's been doing just fine on his regular (prescription) food, but after reading a lot here, I wanted to change him to something that was higher quality and more organic. He vomited for 2 days . It may not have been from the food but I have a feeling it was. Might also have been b/c I went too fast with the mixing it and then giving him some plain....but he was fine other than vomiting....ran around like usual, played, eliminated.....whatever, it will be a LONG time before I try to switch his food, if EVER! I'm also glad to hear that it's so expensive; that seals the deal

It does look like it should be really good for them though! Just not for Max.

I have had mine on EVO mixed with dry Merrick for the longest time they have always been healthy babies . . .so I am not sure if I need to switch
