| help!! ok so Im thinking Im going to feed my baby a raw diet... Im really worried about it... Im not so sure its going to be the best thing... help please...

| There are plenty of arguments for and against it. I do not feed raw and don't agree with it but that's my preference. I have heard that there is a good yahoo group for raw feeders. Have you checked that out? Do you want to feed prey model or prepackaged?

| I think that if you're considering doing a raw diet, you need to make sure that your pup is healthy and free of liver problems... Yorkies are 36 times more likely to have liver shunt than all other breeds put together and dogs with liver shunts would most definitely not be able to be on a raw diet. Have a bile acid test done, and go from there...
