I think that if you're considering doing a raw diet, you need to make sure that your pup is healthy and free of liver problems...
Yorkies are 36 times more likely to have liver shunt than all other breeds put together and dogs with liver shunts would most definitely not be able to be on a raw diet.
Have a bile acid test done, and go from there...
