| Personally, I would never feed Cali RC..sure it's better than Iams and Purina, but there are so many foods that are so much betetr! Out of those two..definitely merricks, for sure!

| I would feed Merrick but they have had some quality control issues. Your baby may or may not eat it. If you want something very similar but much higher quality, and great taste, consider the canned Evanger.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I only feed the dry. The quality control issue was a couple months back and there was some bone fragments in the wet stuff. I know it was short lived and taken care of. I personally chose the Merricks. When I got my first Shih Tzu many years ago he was being fed RC. I didn't care for the contents of it. My baby loves the Merricks and I have no finicky stuff. Poop is nice and solid and two or three times a day since the monster is free feeding right now. She is going to be put on a schedule. When I had Lulu she pooped twice a day and never had any Hypo issues and she was a tiny bit of a thing. Merrick's gets my vote of confidence all the way 100%.

The food had nothing to do with my dog getting sick, but at the time I didn't know that and it just put me off on feeding any type of wet at all.

| Rockie has been eating rc for seven months now, no itching, or negative reactions at all. I researched about the corn and was concerned but he is doing really well with it.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | C is baisically a kind of a junk food if you ask my opinion. You want to feed the best food possible within your budget. Personally (JMO) I don't feed any wet foods because Yorkies can have so much issues with their teeth and build up. Especially when they are in the teething stages.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | If I had to pick between those two I would say Merricks. Otherwise Chicken Soup, Candidae, Natural Balance. |

| I used to feed RCYT-- not good at all for Sophie... allergies were horrible, but coat was really shiny... Now I feed Canidae lamb and rice.. it's great because she is healthy and no more allegy worries..BUT I feel like her coat could have a better sheen.
