| I have never used Merrick as I cant seem to find it in my area. I have used Chicken soup for years and the dogs love it and have never had a problem. Taste of the Wild just came to my are a few months ago and I started mixing them together. The dogs love it too. |

| I really like Merrick and all my dogs like that. I also like this new Avoderm that is oven cooked and natural products it has avocados, fish oil, flaxseed and all great ingreds and my dogs like it. It really seems to improve there coat and also for sensitive stomach dogs, which my hubby has a dog we have lots of issues with so we research alot of food for him. It also shows that dogs that have itching after eating this food has stopped and the hair has come back in. I think this really sounds great and we have been on the canned food for 1 month or more I can tell a difference in the Yorkies coat. And they only get a small amt on top of the dry food.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | you know, i don't have a really good answer for that LOL i used to feed cowboy cookout when morgan was under a year old and i think she liked it. Then i think i heard it was on the recall list or i heard something else bad about them, but i don't remember. something put me off and i can't for the life of me remember what it was. it was probably nothing.

It hasn't worked for a lot of us. It made our Yorkies extremely itchy (more than any other dog food discussed on YT). It seems to be a chronic problem for Ellie now. We can't get ahead of the itchies. So what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. On a side note, I think there is way too much corn in it and it is very expensive for what you get. That is why I say Merricks. Merricks did have a quality control problem awhile back (metal getting into their food), so it is actually now my favorite either.

| yeah..RC just has too many bad ingredients..I would never eat anything with corn gluten or will never feed my girls that has corn gluten in it..i mean in nature in the wild, they will never have corn gluten in their daily diet...i feed mine Orijen but they are on raw 99% of the time.
