| Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hopefully the liver values are up due to him being so overweight. I will keep him in my prayers.

| I was wondering the same thing, and why would a breeder put a a dog down for being over weight, thats horrable, they already had him 5 & 1/2 mths, you got his blood work back quick and the vet should be able to do somehting, when my karleigh was having liver problems the test took 48 hrs.

| I'm just wondering..You just got this puppy this past weekend, and took him to the vet for blood work? I've had blood work done on my dogs before, and it's always taken at least 48 hours to get the results back..?? |

the man wont put him down for being fat. If he has chronic liver problems they would in France because they think that it is cruel to keep a young dog alive who will not live and only suffer. I will have more blood taken and then we will determine how critical it is. Even if it is critical: I WONT SEND MY BABY BACK TO BE KILLED

I hope so patti. Sometimes if a dog eats too much fat he can get liver problems. But if this is genetic then there is something else. Well the man and I spoke tonight and he will take the dog back right away, but I dont want to do this. If he is infact suffering from some liver disease, then they will euthanize him and I cant live with that. I will rather take care of him until he dies. Poor baby, not another one

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | My vets get blood work done in 2 hours. When Dixie was found to be in kidney failure I took her in at 3pm and the vet called before 5 with the bad news. A bile Acid takes 2 days but kidney and liver values can be done quickly. I am happy you are keeping him!
