| I was going for the twelve hour mark. I will probably wait til midnight or morning to feed her. She is sleeping in my lap now and hasn't thrown up in awhile.

| I gave her some water 15 minutes ago and it is still staying down. It's been a looooooong two days. She threw up about 8 times total (3 or 4 times quite a bit and the others not as much) and dry heaved quite a bit. I need to go to bed but I think I might stay up with her. I am anxious to hear your doggies BAT results.

P.S. Me too. They don't go until Monday and then I won't get the results until Tuesday - Like I said though, I know Roxy's will still be high...

I don't think so. It started this morning before any food. It started after she woke me up with the whole allergy thing (dunno if you saw my other thread).

| Just make sure she has plenty of fresh water till she sees a Vet. I wouldn't give her anything to eat for awhile. Here is a good list to go by, but please don't give anything without a Vet. permission. http://dogs.thefuntimesguide.com/ima...-for-pets2.jpg |

I am forcing the water issue (just a little bit) because Ellie doesn't like drinking. That link was highlighted on my screen. I was there the other day. I have no idea what meds on that list a liver compromised dog can have though. Thankfully she may not need any. I will check with the yahoo group if need be.

That's good you are forcing water. My vet has me give Lady Pedialite with an infant's syringe when she has a tummy upset. They can go without the food, but not water.

| Crystal, I'm sorry that Ellie is going through all of this!!! Poor girl and poor you! Plain pedialyte is good to keep her hydrated, and if you have to force it with a syringe, then that's okay... One thing that helps settle their tummies is called Nux Vomica..It's a homeopathic thing that helps with nausea...You just drop a 2 beads in her mouth without touching it so that it doesn't lose it's potency... You can get it at a health food store, and it comes in a little container that looks like a chapstick. This has worked for Miko in the past.

Good Morning Everyone, I think she is better today. I haven't fed her yet (on my way now). Hopefully she holds it down. If not, vet time. I remembered you saying something about Nux Vomica before. Of course I don't have any on hand. I probably should get some.
