| Help...Boo won't let me give her medicene! I just took Boo to the vet yesterday, and he said that she has a yeast infection in her ears. He gave me drops to put in her ear, but she won't be still for me to put it in there! She goes crazy and tries to bite me!! Please...I need some advice on how to get these drops in her ears so this infection can clear up! |

| Have you tried wrapping her up tightly in a blanket, holding her under one arm while using the other to put the drops in? If that doesn't work, you may have to enlist someone to help hold her still.

| How does your pup react to grooming and brushing? Perhaps if you try to place the drops in his ears he would not fuss so much. If that does not work, I would go back to the vet and have him or one of his assistants teach you how to hold Boo and administer the drops. Good luck. You'll do it! |

| How is it going? Do you need to get drops in both ears? If the other suggestions don't work, like wrapping him up, I would suggest get one ear and then let him go and an hr later get the other ear.

| I had the same problem with Maggie, Now I gently grab her by the scruff of her neck, (like her dog mom used to do) and she lets me put the drops in her ears. Hope that helps! Kathy |

| This is going to sound a bit crazy but it's the only thing that worked for me when I had to put eye drops in Simon. I would wrap him in a blanket (tightly), sit him on top of the toilet (facing the tank) and wrap my knees around him (like a headlock). I live alone so I had to figure out a way to make it work and this was the only thing that did. He quit fighting me after a few times and once he realized that getting the drops equalled a piece of turkey Last edited by simonandhallie; 01-06-2008 at 05:57 PM. |

| Thanks so much for all the advice! I was able to get them in tonight when my daughters and I gave her a bath. She's usually very calm and doesn't squirm much when we bathe her. So, we snuck the drops in when we were washing her body. But, I don't plan on giving her a bath every day, so I'll try out the other suggestions tomorrow! Thanks again to all! |

| are they drops that are refrigerated? If so, make sure you warm them up in your hands first. I wonder if you could put the drops in her ear from your finger, like put a drop on your finger then wipe it into the ear several times, then close the ear and massage it in. |
