| Stella & Chewy's freeze-dried My babies LOVE Stella & Chewy's raw frozen steaks so I wanted to try a new flavor & got a little adventurous with a freeze-dried small steaks pack. Has anyone else used these? It says you can rehydrate by adding water but that just softens it a little bit, it's still stiff and a little hard. Tried microwaving it in water but that only stunk up the kitchen, still didn't soften. I was hoping I could get it to the texture of the raw frozen steaks (once they're thawed out they're really soft & mushy).

| I feed the S&C freeze dried, I just add a little warm water and let it sit for about twenty minutes, then use a fork to mash it up. If I am in a hurry, I just chop it into tiny pieces, add the warm water and in about 5 minutes stir it up. Bella has no problem with the texture, it all goes down just fine |
