| When did your puppy lose their first tooth? Bitsy is 5.5 months now and I don't know when she will start losing her baby teeth. I haven't found any teeth yet... How old were your babies when they started losing their baby teeth? |

| hI iTSY bITSY: My pup is the same age as yours and she is starting to loose her teeth already. It started with one small tooth on the bottom and I saw her mouth again yesterday and they are all gone on the bottom except a small little one. The teeth on the top are all loose and ready to fall out too. Maybe u should give your baby more time and see what happens.

| Yours is at the age where they start losing teeth...A lot of times you won't find any teeth laying around, they usually end up swallowing them ..... It's not unusual for them to have a few that don't fall out at all so you have to keep a watch on that because if the adult teeth start coming in and they still have retained baby teeth it may throw off the bite of the incoming teeth.... Usually the retained teeth will be extracted when the pup is spayed or neutered so they only have to be put under anesthesia once....I hope this was helpful....

| Thanks guys, you have been helpful. I just want to make sure I didn't miss her losing her teeth phase. I want to be able keep at least one baby tooth for my scrapbook, lol.
