To neuter or not

I had Bentley neutered as soon as he was old enough for many reasons but the biggest reason was so he wouldn't mark on my furniture. His recovery was so smooth, he acted like nothing had even happened to him. I wasn't planning to breed or show him, there are health benifits to neutering, and it would (hopefully) prevent him from marking in my house, so for me it wasn't even an option...Good luck with whatever you decide.

And annoying behavior is probably something you can eliminate or make better by retraining. However, overpopulation and killing unwanted pets is preventable by neutering!!! Perhaps you should visit a animal shelter so that you can get the full impact of people not spaying or neutering their pets. If you're not a breeder, then there is absolutely no reason for you not to spay/neuter your pet. Please talk to any Vet and I am sure they'll tell you the same thing.
