| I'm sorry for you and Hallie. I will be keeping both of you in my thoughts. I had a dog that went blind in her older age. It is not fun, but it IS manageable. Like you said, be glad in the fact that it is not life threatening. You WILL be able to help her adjust and truth be told, you will probably be more affected and upset by the whole ordeal than she is. |

| Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Kimberly, I'm so sorry Hallie is losing her vision at such a young age. I know it must be so hard for you. Is it bothering Hallie? Has she been acting different or like she's in pain or uncomfortable? To tell you the truth, its probably more upsetting to you then Hallie. These little guys are so resilient. She will adjust and she will show you how adaptable she is. I hope your ophthalmologist appointment goes well in January. I wish i knew more about the eyes and were able to tell you more, but unfortunately the ophtho of our business works in a different building

| Kim, I'm so sorry to hear this. Prayers that Hallie's visit to the opthamalagist will have better results. But, even if not, dog's senses are so acute that they can get around better than you could imagine without sight. She's very lucky to have you for her mommy. She is in the best of hands.

| Oh my goodness Kimberly! I am so very sorry that Hallie is losing her vision and at such a young age! I pray that the specialist can help her after the January consultation. I should tell you, years ago my sister had a Yorkie, Natalie that went blind. You would never have known it too see this little girl run around. The only thing I would caution you with is if you have a swimming pool in the back yard. But their sense of smell is so strong, they can handle blindness a whole lot better than us humans can. With a loving Mommy such as yourself, she will still have a wonderful and love filled life. Hugs to the both of you, Lauren

| Kim, Prayers for you and your sweet Hallie. It's never too much trouble to ask for prayers, good wishes or healing light. Asking for & accepting YT prayers into your life should be the first thing that we all think of when life gets tough.
