| ear infection My lil girl has another ear infection. She went to a groomer around the corner just for a butt trim and clean up and they said she had and ear infection. I though it cleared up. I noticed that this is the ear we had problems with standing. Would an ear infection in a pup prevent it from standing? She is going on 8 month old now. She is starting back on antibiotic's tomorrow. I feel so bad I didnt notice it.

| I would think an ear infection could keep the ear from standing as it's probably pretty sore. I hope she's better soon.

| Don't know about the standing thing, but some yorkies are prone to ear infections. My Pixie is really prone to them! I have to put a cotton ball in her ears and vaseline on top of that to keep the water from getting in her ear when I bath her. Just a little bit of water will have her scratching her ear before long. After the bath, I take a wrung out wash cloth to clean her ears. Hope you baby gets better soon!
