| Basically I mentioned her blood sugar problems and her weight and YT was all over that saying she had a shunt. I still 100% believe that the neurological symptoms were blood sugar ... since I feed every 3 hours now we have none of them. But since she was offered so many homes on here I didn't want to sell her w/o checking... I was just sure they would be fine... here I am |

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sounds a lot like Cali. SHe had blood sugar issues for her first 8 months. some nunexplained neurological episodes and very mild MVD that did not require treatment and they did not think it caused her episodes. She outgrew most of her problems.

| I am diabetic- this makes me think of my boyfriends problem- he has started to have some "blackout spells, shaky spells" I have tested his BS off and on for the 3 years I have had the equipment I have had to do it! His runs very low- 130 the very highest he has had! He had 2 spells at work- had to go get a dr's release to return to work- doctor wants to run test sends him to another doctor for test- went to him yesterday- has to go back next week for the test-still not back to work!!! Grrrrrrrrrr! They are worried about seizers- i WILL BET IT IS HIS BLOODSUGAR GOING TO LOW! Now he makes 30.00 an hour And will have missed 3 weeks of work at 60 hours a week- 20 hours overtime- because- they just can't do the test and let him go back to work!! I know what low blood sugar can do and how it can make you feel! I take up to 5 shots of insulin a day! If I do not eat enough after a shot- MY bloodsugar is going low! I have really high BS- so if mine gets down to 100- I start feeling shaky! People get confused, staggering, shaky, slurred speech, the list goes on and on! And people with no medical problems can get this too-just more exercise can use up all the sugar, and make it go low! Then the shakes,ect..... Some people with low BS are thought to be drunk- one case they arrested a man, put him in a county jail for the night- he was dead the next Am! He was diabetic- had low BS was not treated, and died! They thought he was drunk! Low Blood sugar can happen to anyone, anything, anytime! I think you are right- your puppy probably has low blood sugar- it can give symtems of so many other things-it even confuses the doctors! |

| I am curious too! What are her Bile Acid #'s? What did the Vet tell you? Does she have to be on a special diet? What about Meds. and supplements? I have 2 Yorkies that we just found out to have liver issues too. |
