| My yorkie is not moving... this morning when I woke to feed my dog he wasn't moving...he could lift his head but he didn't react to any of the usual calls for food, treats or even to go out. When he went to bed last night he was fine he was playing and then got tired and when he went to sleep I put a cover over him and when I woke this morning the cover didn't move so I know he didn't hurt himself in the middle of the night. At first I thought he may have had a stroke. We rushed him to the emergency vet and he had x-rays but they showed no fractures or breaks. The doctor also felt that it was not a stroke based on his exam. She said it was muscular. She gave him a needle and pills....he seems to be even more lethargic but does now at least limp to his bed if I stand him but he is not reacting much. Has anyone had this happen and do dogs usually get this way when they have a sprain....I am concerned |

| This is so scary. I hope the vet will be able to help your little one. I worry about the tiny ones. It's one of the reasons I decided not to try to get a little Yorkie. My guy, Reggie, weighs 9 pounds at 2 years old and except for upset tummies once in a while, he has been fairly healthy. Please keep us updated on how your little one is doing. I will keep both of you in my prayers.

| I don't want to alarm you, but I have read posts with similar symptoms and it really sounds as if something is not right. I would take her to another vet. Prayers coming your way.
