At first I thought he may have had a stroke. We rushed him to the emergency vet and he had x-rays but they showed no fractures or breaks. The doctor also felt that it was not a stroke based on his exam. She said it was muscular. She gave him a needle and pills....he seems to be even more lethargic but does now at least limp to his bed if I stand him but he is not reacting much. Has anyone had this happen and do dogs usually get this way when they have a sprain....I am concerned
Yes, I did, and had one that could not stand up all day, just lay in my arms, the vet did not know why, it only happened to him once, I thought he was going to die...in one day he was ok again and we never did know what happened to him...if i sat him down he just fell over...then he was ok..but the weird thing was I never knew what was wrong with him...I was scared to death...hope all is ok today with your baby...
