| it's called inbreeding..I think it's wrong, but, I have known a lot of breeders to do it, when they have a beatuiful father or mother and they have an equally beatuiful son/daughter I think it's gross myself, but they do do it...That's how my nephew does his yellow labs, and he's had beautiful/healthy pups..Right now, the oldest litters are around 6 and he's had a couple more since then..all very healthy and beautiful dogs, with no health problems... |

| I'd make sure they stay in separate rooms at all times, and only take one out at a time.

| You should not breed father/daughter, mother/son unless you know your lines VERY well and know that there are no genetic issues with the line. You can have plenty of problems with breeding of any relatives that close. Only very experienced breeders should attempt inbreeding

| My breeder says to NEVER spay during a heat cycle. She swears it makes them a little mental if you do. I wouldn't have any personal knowledge of this, but that's her opinion so FYI. I would have someone take the mail for a few weeks.
